Privacy Policy

Apply Doctor provides job-application autofill, résumé-based profile creation, optional AI assistance, and application tracking. This policy explains the information handled by the website, Chrome extension, dashboard, and supporting services.

Information you provide

We process information you choose to place in your career profile, including name, email, phone number, address, location, professional links, employment and education history, skills, certifications, salary preferences, availability, work-authorization responses, consent preferences, résumé text, saved application answers, and video or portfolio links.

Application and website information

When you use Apply Doctor on a supported application, the extension reads the current page only as needed to identify the employer, job title, job description, location, salary, form labels, field types, existing answers, required fields, and application URL. It uses this information to perform the autofill, missing-field review, AI, and tracking actions you request. Apply Doctor does not collect a general browser-history profile.

Website analytics

Apply Doctor uses Google Analytics on its website to understand page visits, traffic sources, device and browser information, approximate location derived from network information, and interactions with website features. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and receives the information needed to provide these measurements. We use analytics to maintain and improve the website, not for personalized advertising. The Chrome extension does not use Google Analytics to monitor activity on employer websites.

Account information

Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication provides a verified account identifier, email address, display name, and profile picture. We use these details to create and secure your account and synchronize your data. Apply Doctor does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, or Calendar.

How we use information

• Populate job-application fields when you select Autofill.
• Create and synchronize your career profile.
• Save and organize applications and calculate personal job-search analytics.
• Generate optional job-match scores, résumé extraction, and written-answer drafts that you request.
• Authenticate accounts, enforce plan limits, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.
• Respond to support, privacy, and billing messages.

Apply Doctor never automatically presses an employer’s Submit button.

Local and cloud storage

The extension stores profile, application, session, and preference information in Chrome extension storage. Signed-in profile and tracker information is synchronized over HTTPS to Cloudflare Workers and D1 so the dashboard and extension can access the same account. Résumé files themselves are not uploaded to Apply Doctor storage; extracted résumé text may be synchronized as part of the career profile.

AI processing

When you deliberately request an AI feature, the relevant résumé or profile text, job description, and written question are sent through the Apply Doctor Worker to Groq. Groq is used only to return the requested extraction, match analysis, or draft. Apply Doctor excludes known salary, identity, work-authorization, consent, date, selection, and file-upload controls from written-answer drafting.

Payments

Lemon Squeezy processes paid subscriptions as merchant of record. Apply Doctor receives subscription identifiers, product or variant information, status, renewal or end dates, and customer identifiers needed to activate and manage a plan. Apply Doctor does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.

Service providers and disclosures

Information is disclosed only as necessary to operate Apply Doctor: Cloudflare for hosting, API execution, logs, and database storage; Google Firebase for authentication and Google Analytics for website measurement; Groq for user-requested AI processing; and Lemon Squeezy for checkout and subscription management. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or service security, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

No sale or advertising use

Apply Doctor does not sell personal information and does not use or transfer profile, résumé, application, webpage, or browsing data for personalized advertising, retargeting, creditworthiness, or unrelated market research.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure

Apply Doctor’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs and Chrome extension permissions complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through permissions is used only to provide or improve Apply Doctor’s disclosed job-application autofill, review, AI-assistance, tracking, account-security, and reliability features. It is not transferred except as necessary to provide those features, maintain security, comply with law, or complete a permitted business transaction. It is not used for personalized advertising. Humans do not read user data except with the user’s affirmative permission for support, when necessary for security, when required by law, or after aggregation and anonymization for internal operations.

Retention

Cloud profile and application records are retained while your account remains active. Session and usage records are retained as needed for authentication, limits, security, and operations. Support messages are retained long enough to answer the request and maintain reasonable support and abuse-prevention records. Legal, billing, security, and backup records may be retained when required.

Your choices

You can edit profile and application information, sign out, remove the extension, cancel a subscription, and request access, correction, export, or deletion. See the data deletion page for instructions.

Security

User data is transmitted through HTTPS. Session tokens and API credentials are protected, and service secrets are stored in Cloudflare rather than embedded in the extension. Access is restricted to authenticated requests. No service can guarantee absolute security, so users should avoid storing information not needed for job applications.

Children

Apply Doctor is designed for employment applicants and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes and contact
